OS Crash When Receiving Illegal Program � If a external editor is used to set certain program parameters to out-of-range values, the program could crash the ION. This has been fixed.
C. FEATURE UPDATES AND ENHANCEMENTS
�Arp Send MIDI� Global Parameter � A new global parameter allows notes generated by the arpeggiator to be sent out through MIDI. When on, locally-played keys in an arpeggiated program generate MIDI data for each note. Received MIDI data always plays individual notes.
Knobs Can Send MIDI CCs � The �Panel Send MIDI� global parameter has a new option, �on � cc�. When on, knobs send MIDI continuous controller messages instead of NRPNs. Both NRPNs and CCs can always be received, regardless of this setting.
Send Sysex Request � ION now accepts MIDI-based requests to send out programs and setups as MIDI sysexes.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
