Fixes:
- Fixes an issue where removing the smart card from the card reader of a system in sleep (S3) mode causes the system to attempt to wake from sleep. The system then displays a black screen and stops functioning (hangs).
- Disables the "Allow this device to wake the computer" option in the Alcor driver properties.
- Removes the power management tab from the Alcor driver properties.
HOW TO USE:
1. Download the file by clicking the "Download" or "Obtain Software" button and saving the file to a folder on your hard drive (make a note of the folder where the downloaded file is saved).
2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
