HP Compaq Business Desktop 786G1 BIOS 1.19 Rev.A

This package contains utilities that can be used to restore or update the system BIOS on the supported desktop models with a 786G1 BIOS.

Several methods for changing the BIOS version may be chosen. Included in this package are the following methods:

- Use the DOS utility with a preboot execution environment (PXE) management application or to locally update or restore the system BIOS.
- Use HPQFlash to upgrade the BIOS directly in a Microsoft Windows or Microsoft Windows Vista environment.
- Create a CD image to upgrade/restore system BIOS.

ENHANCEMENTS:

- Adds support for full-speed hubs with endpoint numbers greater than 1.

FIXES:

- Fixes an issue where Microsoft Windows Server 2008 no longer boots after installing the Hyper-V role and enabling the Virtualization Technology (VTx) option in the F10 Setup Utility.

- Fixes an issue with the Replicated Setup "Boot Order" function, where the Boot Order information that is returned is incorrect.

- Fixes an issue where some USB devices with additional unsupported interface descriptors are not initialized when they are connected through a high-speed USB hub.

- Fixes an issue where an occasional ?spattering? noise can be heard while playing back audio at a very high video resolution. This issue only occurs when using a PCI Express x1 Video Card in the PCI Express x16 slot.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Download the file by clicking the "Download" or "Obtain Software" button and saving the file to a folder on your hard drive (make a note of the folder where the downloaded file is saved).

2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
