Changes:

- Improved: System hang with no display occurs when target system BIOS Setup is started using Hitachi JP1 AMT management software.
- Optimized docking control on Windows XP - An error message may be displayed if the following actions are performed - PC is placed in S4 (Hibernation), PC is docked, PC is powered on by pressing the power button or Hot-docked, Eject & Sleep is selected from the Start Menu, PC is undocked during S4, and the PC is powered on by pressing the Power Button.
- The thermal parameters were changed for the Tecra M11 3G model.
- Optimized USB Legacy control - If an external USB HDD is connected to the left-side USB port, the system may continually reboot.
- EC 1.70: Optimized USB wake-up control - If the system is put in an S3 state (Standby) and the mouse button is clicked continuously, the system may automatically reboot.

Installation Instructions:

- Start Windows on the target computer.
- Download the file to a convenient location on your computer.
- The BIOS update will force the computer to shut down or restart. Please make sure to save all work in progress before starting BIOS updates.
- Double click/tap the downloaded file to start the Windows BIOS update process.
- Follow all displayed instructions, then confirm the BIOS update. The BIOS update will start.
- After the update has completed, power on the computer if it is off.
- While the "TOSHIBA" logo is displayed, press the F2 function key to start BIOS Setup.
- Check the version of BIOS, press the F9 function key then Enter to load setup defaults.
- Press the F10 function key then Enter to save settings and exit. The computer will automatically reboot.
