The update fixes an issue with the SIGMA Photo Pro app

SIGMA has announced the availability of two new firmware updates targeted at its sd Quattro and sd Quattro H cameras, namely versions 1.11 and 1.07, respectively, which resolve an issue encountered with the SIGMA Photo Pro software.

Specifically speaking, X3F files that were extracted from X3I files couldn’t be developed a second time when values were adjusted and saved onto the files using SIGMA Photo Pro. This phenomenon is now corrected.

Whit this in mind, if you intend to upgrade to this version, first of all, make sure your camera isn’t already running this or newer firmware, format a memory card using the sd Quattro (H) camera, and save the downloadable .bin file.

Now, transfer the firmware to card’s root directory, insert it into the camera while it’s off, turn the power on, go to Menu > Setup Menu > Firmware Update, and initiate the installation by selecting “Yes” at the “Start Firmware update ?” message.

Bear in mind that the camera’s body will automatically turn off and then reboot seconds after starting the upgrade. However, in case the unit doesn’t power on by itself, make sure to do it manually to resume the update.

Upon completion, the device will automatically shut down after displaying a proper message; at this point, simply remove the memory card and to go check the firmware version once more to ensure that the installation has been successful.

That said, download SIGMA sd Quattro Camera Firmware 1.11 or download SIGMA sd Quattro H Camera Firmware 1.07, take into account all the aspects mentioned above, and update your device. Also, check with our website constantly to stay “updated one minute ago.”
