NVIDIA announced the availability of its August Studio driver update, namely version 516.94, which provides peak reliability for creative apps such as Create, Machinima, Audio2Face, and Nucleus, as well as supports the latest updates for NVIDIA Omniverse announced at SIGGRAPH.

Specifically speaking, Omniverse apps got a major PhysX update (added soft-body, particle-cloth, and soft-contact simulations) that help 3D artists to deliver more realism to physically accurate virtual worlds.

In addition to that, Omniverse receives OmniLive non-destructive USD (Universal Scene Description) workflows, as well as Audio2Face 2022.1 beta support that allows creators to use AI-powered emotion control and full facial animation.

This latest Audio2Face update can deliver more realism than ever by giving users the ability to combine emotions like joy, amazement, anger, and sadness, as well as make use of the AI’s power to direct eye, teeth, and tongue motion accordingly.

Besides NVIDIA Omniverse, the 516.94 Studio package also improves performance when playing Apex Legends, Red Dead Redemption 2 (when using DLSS), Overwatch, Chivalry 2, Dungeons 3, and Destiny 2, and includes other changes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

In terms of compatibility, the available packages are suitable for both desktop and notebook configurations running one of Microsoft’s Windows 10 or 11 operating systems. However, make sure your GPU model is supported before trying to install this update.

That said, download NVIDIA STUDIO Graphics Driver 516.94, run it, follow all instructions, perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect, and check back with our website as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
