NVIDIA has made available a new version of its GeForce graphics driver, namely 445.78 hotfix, which should remove a bug that didn’t allow some DirectX 11 games to launch when Image Sharpening was enabled from the NVIDIA Control Panel.

When it comes to compatibility, the two available files are suitable for the 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating systems; also, know that Windows 10 users can download a DCH or Standard driver.

Therefore, if you have encountered these issues, save the appropriate package for your computer’s operating system, run it, wait for all files required for the installation to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful upgrade.

Once finished, make sure to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually so that any possible problems are avoided.

In addition to that, make sure not to try installing this hotfix release on other platforms, as this might lead to various malfunctions, even if they might seem to work at first
