Intel has announced the availability of a new version of its Graphics driver, namely version 27.20.100.8853, which includes support for Microsoft’s latest Windows 10 October 2020 Update as well as for several new titles.

Specifically speaking, this update provides the best gaming experience when playing Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods, Aquanox: Deep Descent, Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition, Amnesia: Rebirth, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands (pre-patch), Torchlight III, and RuneScape titles.

In addition to that, build 8853 adds playability improvements for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, and resolves crashes seen in Shadow of the Tomb Raider (DX12), Modern Combat 5 (during loading), and Red Dead Redemption 2 (Vulkan).

Moreover, Intel fixes graphic anomalies seen while playing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey or scrolling in Edge (Chromium) browser, improves USB-C dock stability, and adds several changes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

In terms of compatibility, the release is suitable for Microsoft’s Windows 10 DCH platform (only for 64-bit architectures) and consists of two downloadable packages: one archive and one executable.

Considering this, if you want to upgrade, save the appropriate file, run the available setup, follow all instructions displayed on the screen, and make sure to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually to avoid any issues.

That said, download Intel Graphics Driver 27.20.100.8853 for Windows 10 DCH 64-bit, apply it to enjoy the changes and improvements mentioned above, and constantly check our website to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
