Intel has announced the availability of the new Windows 10 May 2019 Update launch driver, namely version 26.20.100.6709, which is WDDM 2.6 compliant and adds support for DirectX 12 Shader Model 6.4 compiler on 7th-gen CPUs (and higher).

In addition to that, supported configurations get early access to Intel’s brand-new Graphics Command Center (IGCC), a software interface that provides consumers with a modern design to optimize their visual experience (provides 1-click optimization of in-game settings based on several factors).

Besides these changes, build 6709 also adds performance optimizations for Anno 1800, World War Z, and Unheard titles, implements stability and security improvements, and resolves minor graphics anomalies in Re-Legion, Arma 3, and Dreamfall the Longest Journey games.

Moreover, Intel’s update supports PSO cache for Compute Shaders, adds various performance improvements for D3D12 MetaCommands in DirectML, fixes crashes/hangs seen in Devil May Cry 5, and removes an error message displayed in Rise of the Tomb Raider when running DX12.

Regarding compatibility, the producer has provided one zip archive and one executable suitable for Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit operating systems and provides support for configurations that includes one of the graphics chipsets listed in the Release Notes below.

That said, download Intel Graphics Driver 26.20.100.6709 for Windows 10 64-bit, install it on your computer, and check back with us as often as possible to know when a newer version is available.
