Intel has announced the availability of a new graphics driver, namely version 30.0.100.9667 Beta, which promises to add support for Chivalry 2 title and resolve Fortnite shadow corruptions seen on Intel Iris Xe MAX graphics.

Moreover, the current release also applies Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) 6 driver update, resolves the blank display experienced on 5120x2160 @ 50Hz settings, fixes Cyberpunk 2077 graphic anomalies, and makes sure Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Marvel’s Avengers do not crash/hang.

However, take into account that the 9667 Beta build might still encounter some issues Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Destiny 2, Detroit: Become Human, Doom Eternal, Metro Exodus, Need for Speed Payback, and other games as described in the Release Notes below.

In terms of compatibility, the downloadable files (one .exe and one .zip) are suitable for the 64-bit architecture of Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system. Do not try installing this update on other OSes even if it might seem to work at first, as this can lead to various malfunctions.

Therefore, if you want to install this update, make sure it supports your system configuration, save and run the desired package, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

Moreover, once finished, perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually.
