NVIDIA has announced the availability of a new GeForce graphics driver, namely version 442.01 Hotfix, which resolves The Witcher 3 game crashes when users reach a specific cut scene, and more.

The current update also makes sure streaming Call of Duty Modern Warfare gameplay using StreamLabs OBS won’t randomly stop and fixes the minor stuttering seen when using NVIDIA SLI in combination with G-SYNC.

Regarding compatibility, the present release is suitable for both desktop and notebook configurations, but only the ones running under a 64-bit variant of Microsoft Windows 10 operating system. Also, there are two files available for download: one Standard and one DCH version.

Bear in mind that trying to install NVIDIA’s 442.01 Hotfix release on OSes other than the ones above isn’t recommended and might cause various malfunctions, even if it might seem to work.

Therefore, if you have encountered these issues, save the appropriate file for your computer’s operating system, run it, wait for all data required for the installation to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful upgrade.

Once finished, make sure to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually so that any possible problems are avoided.

That said, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 442.01 Hotfix for Windows 10 64-bit, apply it on your device, and always check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
