Fujifilm has announced the availability of new firmware packages developed for its X-T3 and X-H1 digital cameras, namely version 2.00, which allow the display of power supply icon and color temperature (Kelvin) on EVF/LCD and fix other slight defects.

In addition to that, the X-T3 unit now supports 4K HDR video recording in Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG), can output Film Simulation and F-Log footage at the same time, and is compatible with ALL-Intra and maximum bitrate 400Mbps with H.264.

As for the X-H1 camera, its 2.00 firmware removes image shake when panning slowly, records movies as one file even if they reach 4GB, and improves overall stability by forcing in-body image stabilization and optical image stabilization to work together.

When it comes to applying these releases, save the appropriate .DAT file specifically designed for your camera model onto a formatted memory card, turn off the Fujifilm unit, and insert the newly prepared card into the appropriate slot.

Afterward, turn off the camera while pressing the “Disp/Back” button, and carefully follow all instructions displayed on-screen for a successful installation. Also, once completed, make sure to remove and format the card once more, as well as check the currently installed firmware.
