The firmware improves BIS function during a movie shooting

Fujifilm has released a new firmware package targeted at its X-T4 camera model, namely version 1.02, which improves BIS function during a movie shooting and removes a bug that caused overexposure in a certain shooting condition.

In addition to that, this update makes sure that images erased from an SD card with SIMULTANEOUS DELETE ON are not played back, resolves an issue where the camera didn’t wake up by pressing the shutter button, and also fixes minor bugs.

Before considering an upgrade, make sure to format a memory card using your camera, as well as insert a fully-charged battery to avoid any potential problems. Also, do not turn the device off or use any of its controls during the installation as this can cause the camera to no longer operate correctly in some cases.

With this in mind, get the downloadable firmware file, transfer it onto the SD card, and then insert it into the camera. Afterward, turn the device on by pressing “DISP/BACK” button, press “Ok,” and confirm the item as “BODY.”

If all is ok, follow all instructions displayed on-screen to initiate the upgrade, wait for the camera to do its job (take around 90 seconds to complete), and turn off the device after the installation has finished.

Last but not least, make sure to remove and format the memory card, as well as check the camera’s currently installed firmware to ensure the process has been successful.

That said, download Fujifilm X-T4 Camera Firmware 1.02, take into account all aspects as mentioned above, and constantly check our website to find out when a newer version is available.
