NVIDIA has announced the availability of a new Vulkan GeForce Graphics driver update, namely version 473.60 beta, which maintains Vulkan 1.3 support (ensures access to advanced features like ray tracing and mesh shaders) and adds compatibility with a new extension (VK_KHR_ray_tracing_maintenance1).

In terms of supported GPUs, this release is valid for certain models of NVIDIA’s Ampere, Turing, Volta, Pascal, and Maxwell 1 & 2 architectures that include the TITAN, GeForce RTX, and Quadro GPU models as described in the Release Notes below.

As for the operating systems, the present update is only compatible with 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 10 and 11 platforms. However, take into account that the update is still a beta release and might experience certain issues.

When it comes to installation, first ensure your GPU model is supported by this release, save the appropriate package compatible with your computer’s bit architecture, run it, and wait for the wizard to extract all files required for the upgrade.

Afterward, simply follow all on-screen instructions for a complete and successful installation. Also, it would be a good idea to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly.

That said, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Vulkan Driver 473.60 Beta, apply it on your computer, and constantly check our website to be aware when a newer version is available for download.
