AMD has announced the availability of a new version of its Radeon Adrenalin Edition graphics driver, namely the 19.2.2 optional build (18.50.21.01), which adds support and promises to provide the best gaming experience for Far Cry New Dawn and Metro Exodus titles.

In addition to that, the current release includes compatibility with AMD’s latest graphics card, namely the Radeon VII GPU, supports Sid Meier’s Civilization VI: Gathering Storm, and improves performance by up to 5% for Crackdown 3.

If applied, the 19.2.2 build resolves several problems regarding Radeon WattMan, Radeon Overlay, Radeon Settings, sand Radeon VII card, fixes Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds crashes (when changing post-processing settings), and corrects Apex Legends line corruptions.

However, AMD’s update might still experience mouse lag with multiple display configurations, specific issues when plating Battlefield V, as well as other problems as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

Regarding compatibility, besides a supported GPU, take into account that your configuration must be running a 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7 or 10 operating systems. Also, know that there is an “Auto-Detect and Install” package available for download.

Therefore, to enjoy the benefits of this release, save the appropriate package for your computer, remove any previous version from your computer, run the downloaded package, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete update.

Last but not least, once finished, don’t forget to perform a reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually.

That said, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 19.2.2 Optional, apply it, and always check our website to be the first to find out when the next version will be available for download.
