The update supports FRTC PRO and Blender 3.0 features

AMD has pushed out a new Radeon PRO graphics driver targeted at several of its GPU models, namely the 21.Q4 version (21.40.11.02), which adds Blender 3.0 version support to Radeon PRO and Radeon 6000 series graphics.

In addition to that, the current update includes FRTC PRO feature support for an improved power efficiency, fixes the USB-C power delivery firmware update issue causing Error-213, and corrects image corruptions seen in Blender 2.93.1 and Chief Architect Software.

Regarding compatibility, besides the supported GPU, take into account that your configuration must be running a 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7 or 10 operating system, or a version of the Windows Server 2016 platform.

As for installation, remove any previous version present on your computer, save and run the appropriate package for your system, wait for all files required to be made available, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

Last but not least, it would be a good idea to perform a reboot once the installation has finished to ensure all changes take effect. If this task isn’t requested automatically, make sure to carry it out manually.

With this in mind, download AMD Radeon Pro Graphics Driver 21.Q4, install it and perform a reboot once finished to enjoy these new changes. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
