This update resolves several Radeon features problems

AMD has announced the availability of a new version of its Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition Graphics driver, namely the 18.8.2 (18.30.11.01) package, which increases performance for Strange Brigade, adds support for F1 2018, and many more.

Specifically speaking, this update removes the instability and shuttering issues encountered when playing games with FRTC and Instant Replay enabled, and makes sure Upgrade Advisor appears in Radeon Settings.

In addition to that, the producer also resolves several issues seen in Far Cry 5 on some system configurations, improves compatibility between Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Radeon FreeSync, and implements several other changes highlighted in the Release Notes below.

However, AMD’s release might still experience a few problems with Radeon FreeSync, Radeon ReLive, and certain Radeon RX Vega Series graphics products, as well as with games such as Monster Hunter: World and Strange Brigade.

In terms of compatibility, besides a supported GPU, take into account that your configuration must be running a 32- or 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7 or 10 operating systems (Windows 8.1 is no longer supported),

Therefore, remove any previous version present on your computer, save and run the appropriate package for your system, wait for all files required to be made available, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

With this in mind, if you consider applying this release, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 18.8.2, install it and perform a reboot once finished. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
