The new update fixes AMD Link game controllers problems

AMD has announced the availability of a new version of its Radeon Adrenalin Edition driver, namely the 19.6.1 Optional build (19.10.15.09), which adds support for Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass for PC and resolves issues with AMD Link virtual or external game controllers.

However, AMD’s update might still encounter GPU connection issues on ASUS TUF Gaming FX505 devices and experience system instability on ACER Swift 3 with AMD Ryzen Processor (when upgrading using the Custom Clean Installation option).

Regarding compatibility, know that your configuration must be running a 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7 or 10 operating systems. Also, AMD has provided an “Auto-Detect and Install” utility that downloads and applies the correct package for your configuration.

Therefore, to enjoy the benefits of this release, save the appropriate package for your computer, remove any previous version from your computer, run the downloaded package, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete update.

Last but not least, once finished, don’t forget to perform a reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually.

That said, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 19.6.1, apply it, and constantly check our website to be the first to find out when the next version will be available for download.
