Update process is simple and fast. The Philips site provide 2 versions for devices easily recognised by the power switch. The round button type I have tried to update. The firmware install process works fine. The actual code seems to be flawed since I am unable to select the encryption algorithm from what is availale. I'm not certain if this is due to some failing on my part and Philips don't respond to my emails requesting help. Advice: Stick with what is working and buy another product if the encryption scheme you want is not currently provided. It may be economic to try the upgrade first but this is likely to render the config process useless.
