This firmware could be a lot better. There are several problems with it as of version 1.02.

- The unit turns off unexpectedly when it is vibrated (for example if it is resting on the dashboard of a moving vehicle). There is no warning and no state information is saved. I've been able to reproduce this easily.

- It is tiresome to scroll through a long list of files or directories using the browser. It would be good if the virtual keyboard could be used to type some letters which would take you to the desired location in the list.

- The unit is slow when multitasking. For example, button response time when a playlist is being loaded during playback.

- The firmware seems to have problems with certain files which cause it to unexpectedly turn off. I have been able to reproduce this bug as well.

- There is a bug where bookmarks are not saved unless you turn the unit off before connecting the USB cable to a computer.

- It would be nice to have more frequently used functions embedded in the context menu during playback mode. For example, if you could turn shuffle on and off from this menu it would save a lot of time.

- Using the virtual keyboard to rename a file is quite limited. For example, you cannot move the cursor to a location within the current filename, you can only delete the characters preceeding the cursor. That's annoying if you only want to change one letter at the beginning of a long filename.

- No Ogg support!
