To install the firmware, do the following:
- Download the file onto your local hard disk.
- Ensure SB Recon3D is set to PC MODE, and connect it to the USB port.
- Double-click the downloaded file.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- After the installation has completed, unplug and plug your device to the USB port.
- If you encounter a problem with the installation, try again using the USB 2.0 port of the system.
WARNING:
- Please ensure your device is connected during installation.
- Do not unplug your device until full installation completes.
- The installation will take a while.
- Do not restart your PC during the firmware upgrade.
- Do not use a USB hub for installation.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
