|
This beautifully designed 3.3 megapixel digital camera has 2 x digital zoom, 2 x optical zoom, a 1.5” LTPS TFT LCD screen and a 2.7” CCD sensor! The camera can also be used for short video fragments. The camera has 16 MB RAM, which can be expanded using Secure Digital or Multi Media cards (SSD/MMC). Includes a Lithium Ion (Li-lon) battery worth € 39.95!
The most powerful and expensive rechargeable battery is the LithiumIon (Li-Ion). Its capacity is more than double that of the Ni-Cad cell and approximately 50% higher than that of a comparable NiMH cell. (Nickel-Metal-Hydride). Its self-discharging percentage is only 8% per month. A Li-Ion battery has several advantages compared to a Ni-MH battery; it is smaller/lighter (with a constant capacity) or has more capacity (with a constant size/weight). Furthermore a Li-Ion battery does not suffer from the so-called “memory effect”, which to a certain degree is still present in the NiMH batteries, although to a lesser degree than with the Ni-Cad.
