During the firmware update, you should not:
- Turn off the camera
- Remove the battery
- Detach the lens
- Remove the memory card
- The multifunction hand grip may not be attached
Note:
- The firmware update for the Leica S (type 006) contains all lens firmware updates. After updating your camera, carry out an update for your lenses if necessary.
- If your camera's functionality is restricted after carrying out the firmware update, contact your Leica dealer or your local Leica Customer Care center.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS DAMAGE TO YOUR CAMERA!
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
