How to Download and Install:
- Switch the printer on.
- When you have downloaded the file, decompress it on your computer hard disk.
- Execute the setup file. The imagePROGRAF Firmware Update Tool is installed.
- Access the Canon website and download the firmware corresponding to your printer.
- Put the downloaded firmware in the Data folder in the location where imagePROGRAF Firmware Update Tool is installed.
- From the Start menu, select Programs to execute imagePROGRAF Firmware Update Tool.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
