The RT2600 chipset from Ralink consists of two highly integrated ICs (RT2529 and RT2661) that fully comply with IEEE 802.11b/g standards.
The chipset sustains high throughput in long distance, thanks to MIMO-MRC technology that features Adaptive-Array Smart Antenna in the DSP core. Yet it remains competitive with traditional 802.11 b/g and b/g solutions in cost.
The package includes the following drivers:
Vista:RT61:2.0.7.0 RT2500:3.2.0.0
98/ME/2K/XP:RT61:1.2.3.0 RT2500:3.2.0.0
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed a wrong driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
