This package provides an updated version of the HP Advisor Software for the supported notebook models and operating systems. The HP Advisor Software provides an easy-to-use, one-stop access to software, services, solutions, and support from HP and our partners.

ENHANCEMENTS

:
- Adds a desktop PC dock that enables drag-and-drop customization to get you quickly where you want to go, and that enables you to make your PC yours.
- Adds a new PC Discovery area to enrich the PC experience, helping you do new and different tasks contextually, by interest area, which enables you to easily access applications and online services.
- Enhances the HP Advisor design and navigation, which provides improved performance.

PREREQUISITES:

- A supported Microsoft Windows Vista Operating System must be installed.
- User must be logged on as an administrator to install this update.
- Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 must be installed.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Click the "Download Only" button.
2. At the File Download screen, click the "Save" button.
3. At the Save As screen, save the file to your Desktop.
4. If a message is displayed, which states that the file already exists, click YES to overwrite the file.
5. Double-click the icon for the update that was downloaded to your Desktop, and then click NEXT.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions.
7. If prompted to restart the system when the update is complete, click YES, and allow system to restart.
