This tool will expand the maximum scanning resolution capability and allow you to scan legal size documents.
How to Download and Install:
- Make a temporary directory on your HDD to save the downloaded file, e.g. C:\bront
- Start downloading.
- Once downloading is completed, double click the downloaded file to extract it.
- Double click the extracted "BrScUtil.exe" file.
- Select WIA Device, Max Resolution and Maximum Scanning Size and click OK.
NOTE: The Maximum Scanning Size option may not appear depending on your model.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
