It is not possible to update the firmware if the following conditions are met on your machine:
- The machine is scanning a document.
- The machine is copying / or in copy settings (copy mode, number of copies, etc..).
- There are Media cards inserted into the machine.
- The machine is in the Settings Menu.
- There's error message on LCD panel.
- The machine is scanning a document.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
