D-Link DWL-AG520 Driver 3.16 description

If you´re a network administrator, the versatile 802.11a/b/g-compatible DWL-AG520 gives you an immediate way to expand to your existing 802.11b network and protect your overall wireless network investment. By installing DWL-AG520s in desktops throughout your organization your employees can access wireless APs or routers from their desktop PCs. And as your company expands or reorganizes you won´t have to keep pulling and plugging Ethernet cable because no matter where the workstation is relocated, it´s still connected to the network. When you add an 802.11a/b/g access point (D-Link Air Xpert DWL-7000AP) or router (D-Link Air Xpert DI-774), to your wireless network, you will have an end-to-end wireless solution capable of handling up to four times the user load of your current 802.11b network.

In addition to its compatibility with earlier 802.11b networks, the DWL-AG520 now offers the robust speed with a maximum wireless signal rate of up to 54Mbps*, of the newer 802.11g and 802.11a standards, so everyone can work faster and more efficiently. The additional (802.11a) 5GHz band also offers a way to quickly transfer data in a frequency range that does not experience interference or interruptions from cordless phones, microwave ovens and other devices utilizing the 2.4GHz frequency.

* Maximum wireless signal rate derived from IEEE Standard 802.11a and 802.11g specifications. Actual data throughput will vary. Network conditions and environmental factors, including volume of network traffic, building materials and construction, and network overhead lower actual data throughput rate.

Driver Update:
¤ 802.11G Standard
¤ Fixed memory leak issue with the utility
¤ WPA support for Windows XP, using Microsoft WPA supplicant.
¤ WPA support for Windows 2000, using Funk WPA supplicant.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Do not forget to check with our site as often as possible in order to stay updated on the latest drivers, software and games.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed a wrong driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
