Fixes:
The Windows SDK sometimes stops working even though the HIDs continue to report.
While using more than two fingers there is track loss of the fingers.
Wake up from sleep / hibernate with single touch instead of multi-touch.
The firmware upgrade / repair option isn’t working. In order to install the RC package you need to uninstall the installed N-trig package, shut down, power up again and then install the new package.
Sometimes, near the edges of the screen, there is poor detection.

Known Issues

The following section describes issues that will be corrected in a future release.

Touch functionality occasionally stops working. Workaround: Press ALT+CTL+DEL and then click Cancel. Touch input will resume.

Drivers in this package are not digitally signed (certified), and sometimes a warning message is displayed during installation.

The following issues are relevant when working on Dual boot systems with Windows 7 and Vista, and using Vista:

• The stylus in Journal and Office applications does not work properly. Tracking works, and items can be marked, but writing does not always work.
• A calibration balloon is displayed after every reboot.
• After installing the DuoSense MTM package over and existing DuoSense MTG package, the DuoSense MTG package icon remains on display in the system Control Panel.

The N-trig Applet isn’t implemented and therefore, the following functionality is lost: In Auto mode, it is possible to work with stylus and after that with multi-touch without double tapping. Sometimes after completing the installation process, but before performing restart, there is no touch functionality, despite the installation indicating that it completed successfully. Visual feedback in auto mode is not active. Sound feedback does not work – there is no sound when using touch. In the Control Panel, none of the modes are selected. In Touch Only mode, if you use the stylus, the multi-touch functionality is disabled.

The application supports up to 4 fingers. Applying more than 4 fingers on the screen simultaneously may affect the performance.

Occasionally, during the uninstallation process on Vista 32 and 64 bit, an error occurs, and an error message is displayed. Despite this message, the uninstall procedure finishes successfully.

Occasionally, Multi Touch performance is not optimal and track losses and glitches are observed. Workaround: Uninstall N-trig bundle and reinstall.

Occasionally, following a long idle period, Multi Touch performance may not be optimal.


It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Do not forget to check with our site as often as possible in order to stay updated on the latest drivers, software and games.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed a wrong driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
