To Install the USB Driver
1. Download the zip file in the link below.
2. Unzip the files to a convenient place.
3. Connect the USB cable to your modem and plug in the modem's power.
4. Connect the USB cable to your computer. The "Found New Hardware Wizard" window appears.
5. Leave the radio button selection on "Search for a suitable driver for my device..." and click Next through the prompts.
6. Browse to the file cg814.inf that you unzipped in step 2.
7. Finish the steps in the Hardware Wizard.
8. Reboot the modem.

8. Reboot the modem.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
