WD My Passport Wireless Storage Firmware 1.03.13

Resolved Issues:

- Resolved issue of entering standby mode during SD card transfer
- Resolved issue of progress bar becoming stuck if SD card removed during transfer
- Resolved random WiFi profiles being removed
- Updated fixes for shellshock vulnerability
- Resolved language not persisting after restore issue
- Resolved issue with client mode turning off downlink

Additional Changes:

- Revised SD card transfer algorithm for faster transfer speed
- Updated the SD card sync rules
- Closed additional TCP/UDP ports for security
- Updated startup to decrease boot time

To update the firmware:

- Download the firmware to your desktop
- Unzip the file and you will find the actual firmware in this format: MyPassportWireless_x.bin
- Save this to your desktop
- Connect to the My Passport Wireless Wi-Fi network
- Open the My Passport Wireless Dashboard UI
- Go to Firmware Tab
- Under the section Manual Update, click the Update From File button and a window will open
- Browse to where you saved the MyPassportWireless_x.bin file and select it.
- You will see a pop up confirming to upgrade your firmware, click Ok.

Important product update notes:

- Do not interrupt the firmware upgrade process. Doing so may cause the device to malfunction or render it unable to boot.
- If you are using the manual update method, do not rename the firmware file. Doing so will cause the manual update to fail.
