S3 Graphics has been working closely with Microsoft to identify and develop key hardware components for Windows Vista, the next generation Windows operating system. S3 Graphics is providing these early Windows Vista Display Driver Model (WDDM) prototypes to assist enterprise customers to procure and deploy PCs before Windows Vista launches. We plan to update these drivers as new products are developed that satisfy the criteria for the Windows Vista Capable PC program.

Note: This driver has been tested to work with the Windows Vista Release Candidate 1 (build 5600.16384.060829-2230). If you are using a different build of the operating system, this driver may not work. This driver has not been tested with the Windows Longhorn Server build.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
