The driver for your ATI video card includes the ATI Catalyst Control Center. This software provides an interface to advanced settings and configuration options for your video solution. The ATI Catalyst Control Center requires the Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1 SP1 (or higher) to be installed in order to function properly.
Your system factory installed image includes the Microsoft .NET framework files required to use the Catalyst Control Center. Should you need to reinstall your video card driver or reinstall your operating system you will need to reinstall the .NET Framework 1.1 files SP1 (or higher).
The .NET Framework can be loaded using the following steps:
- Place your OS Reinstallation CD in the drive.
- When prompted, choose perform additional TasksE
- On the next screen, choose the install .Net FrameworkEoption
- Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation
Alternatively, you may download the latest version of .NET from Microsoft Windows Update or at the Microsoft website at: http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
