ISSUES FIXED:
The following issues were fixed since the previous version of the graphics driver (version 15.28.0.2770 and
15.28.64.2770)

VIDEO PLAYBACK

- Windows Media Player application: The video brightness does not increase/decrease while another video is playing in another application.
- Playing certain YouTube video clips in Full Screen or Large player mode does not cause Microsoft Internet
- Explorer to stop working anymore.
- Media Center now correctly shows the video on the second monitor when the display is set to clone mode.
- Video playback from Windows 8 Metro interface now correctly resumes when system comes out of sleep state.
- Eliminated a video corruption that appeared in some playback cases with Windows Media Player.
- Eliminated flicker that occurred when playing certain interlaced content.
- Video Playback in Metro does not crash for certain online videos anymore.

GAMES

Note: This is Win8 Release Preview Operating System and performance with this driver may vary from other similar platforms with Windows 7 OS. Certain games are fixed in later versions of Win 8 OS that may not be available to end-users yet. Final production version of Windows 8 may have different performance.

Fixed the following minor artifacts seen in the games:
- Crysis Warhead game: A water-like haze is no longer seen among buildings.
- Crysis game: The water surface is no longer displayed overhead when not underwater.
- Bulletstorm game does not exhibit minor corruption anymore when anti-aliasing is enabled.
- Star Wars: The Old Republic version 1.2: Particle Effects are now rendered when Bloom is enabled and Shader Complexity Anti-Aliasing are set to High.
- Counter-Strike: No more corruption observed in the main menu when MSAA is turned on.
- Total War: Shogun 2: Corruption in Benchmark mode now fixed.
- Aliens vs. Predator: Cloaking effect now works properly.

Fixed the crashes in the following games:
- Hard Reset does not crash after start.
- Lost Planet 2 does not crash during start time and report “Lost Planet has stopped working” anymore.

OTHER

- Display Configuration shown in Windows now matches with that shown in the Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel
- Multiple minor bugs in control panel were fixed.

- HomeFront: Upgrade to 1.0.5 or later
- Unigine Heaven: Upgrade to 2.5 or later
- Battlefield 3: Upgrade to latest patch

KNOWN ISSUES:
Below are issues seen with this graphics driver when installed on Windows 8 Release Preview Build 8400. Certain games exhibit artifacts in this version of the Operating System are fixed in the later builds from Microsoft.

VIDEO

PLAYBACK
- Windows Media Player application: Corruption may be seen in video playback after changing the display resolution.
- Windows Media Player application may crash when trying to play a .ts video file.
- Vertical lines may be seen while playing a Blu-ray movie after switching the primary and secondary display.
- Certain TV model and Blu-Ray player combinations do not play 3D content.
- Stereoscopic 3D movie plays in 2D and flickers when Windows 8 video player and Windows 7 video player applications are opened simultaneously
- Opening the Windows Task Manager window while playing a Blu-ray movie may cause the screen to go black.
- Error: “Your system is not compatible with HDCP, BD playback is disabled. (ErrorCode=2002)” may be seen while playing a Blu-ray movie on stereoscopic 3D displays in Clone configuration.

GAMES

- Metro 2033 game: Corruption seen during game play.
- Final Fantasy XIV: might crash intermittently.
- Alt-Tab does not switch from full screen to windowed mode in Unigine Engine benchmark.

OTHER

- 3DMark 11 application: Hangs after continuous operation.
- LuxMark 1.0 benchmark: Corruption/red dots are seen when running the LuxBall test.
- 3DMarkVantage: Corruption maybe seen in some scenes when running benchmark in 'Entry' mode.
- Media Color Enhancement Page in Control Panel may turn blank under some circumstances.
- DirectX SDK ImageProcessingCS app shows flickering when Blur Iterations is set to 2 or 3.
- Rotation setting may reset on the secondary monitor when the resolution is changed.
- When two applications are concurrently using OpenCL, the graphics driver may crash.
