Pentax Optio S5i Digital Camera Firmware 1.0

Changes:
- Corrected the day/month reversed display error in English mode.
- The version number for this new firmware remain the same as 1.00 

Update procedures of camera firmware

- Prepare a SD card (with minimum memory capacity of 8MB) for use in updating.
- The following two files will be generated once the downloaded file is extracted by double-clicking.
readme.txt: The text file.
fwdc130p.bin: This is the updated firmware.
- After formatting the SD card, copy the aforementioned fwdc130p.bin file to the root directory of the SD card.
- Turn the power off, if the power of the camera is on.
- Insert the SD card (containing fwdc130.p.bin file) in your camera.
- Connect the AC adaptor with the camera. If you are using the D-LI8 lithium-ion battery for OptioS5i, make sure it is fully charged.
- Turn the power on while holding down the MENU button.
- Select YES with four-way controller and press OK button at the display below.
PROGRAM UPDATE – YES – NO- NEW VERSION IS – VER 1.00
- "NOW LOADING" will be displayed in the LCD and red LED by the viewfinder will blink, and the updating of the firmware will start. Do NOT turn the power off while updating is in progress.
- After approx. 30 seconds, "COMPLETE" will be displayed in the LCD, then turn off the power of the camera.
- Remove the SD card from the camera. Now updating procedures has been completed.
