FiiO X1 Portable Player Firmware 1.5

Changes:

- Pressing the Back button from the Now Playing screen will now always take you to the folder / album / etc. from which the current song is selected. This is true even after navigating to the main menu or powering the X1 off and back on.
- Added Russian and Thai language UI support.
- Removed the 5800 song limit of the media library.
- Enabled gapless playback of single music files split by CUE sheets.
- Fixed issue where CUE sheets containing tracks of identical titles could not be parsed properly.
- Fixed issue where the genre tag of AAC files (.m4a) was read incorrectly.
- Fixed issue where the X1 would not skip automatically through files of unsupported format if a whole series of such files are encountered in a row.
- Fixed issue where blanks spaces in front of the album name of a song caused the genre name to be read incorrectly
- Miscellaneous Chinese UI bugfix.

How to upgrade the X1:

- Choose a TF card (micro SD Card) with FAT32 file system. If the update process fails, pls change to use a blank TF card with capacity under 32GB, and directly format it by X1 before the upgrade again.
- The original file data in the TF card will not be corrupted when upgrading.
- Ensure that the X1 is sufficiently charged (preferably fully charged) before the upgrade to prevent power failure during upgrade.
- Please do not charge this unit when upgrading.
- Unzip the firmware upgrade package from FiiO and copy the x1.fw file within to the root directory of the TF card.
- Turn off the X1 and insert the card into the TF slot.
- Hold the “Shortcuts” key (the key to the upper left of the scroll wheel) and then press the “Power / Lock” button to turn on the X1.
- Do not press buttons or turn the dial on the X1 while the upgrade is in progress.
- When the firmware upgrade is complete, the X1 will restart automatically.
- Please delete the x1.fw file from the TF card after the update is complete.
- Please update the media library again after the firmware update.
