Modifications enabled in this version
- An issue that sometimes caused the text “Not in range” to be displayed and prevented connection to an available Wi-Fi network displayed under Settings → Wireless & networks → Wi-Fi settings has been resolved.
How to verify your camera's current firmware version
- Turn on the camera.
- Press the MENU button is shooting or playback mode, and tap Setup.
- Drag the screen down until Firmware version is displayed, and then tap Firmware Version.
- The camera's firmware version will be displayed.
- Turn off the camera.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
