This package applies to systems configured with the HLDS GH40N Multiburner. The firmware adds the SATA Asynchronous Notification function for Windows 7 support.
Note:
This firmware upgrade requires the system to be restarted. Exit all applications and save your data before running the upgrade. Do NOT restart or power-down the system while the upgrade is in progress.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
