Firmware update Version 1.0.6 incorporates the following fixes and improvements:
1.Some for EOS Rebel XS cameras may exhibit a phenomena in which the LCD
monitor does not display, the shutter does not release, and the busy indication
remains lit in the viewfinder.
2.The message, Err99 Shooting is not possible. Turn the power
switch to -OFF- and -ON- again or re-install the battery, appears on the
cameras LCD monitor, and after the above operation is carried out, the LCD
monitor displays in a language that is different from the actual language setting.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
