Recovery Mode Update:

- Download the new firmware and place the firmware onto the ROOT directory of a USB drive.
- Plug the USB drive into an empty USB HOST on the smart tv box.
- With the smart tv box turned off,use a paper clip or tooth pick to press and hold the small pinhole restore button on the smart tv box.
- While pressing the restore button,turn on the smart tv box. Continue to hold the restore button for 5 more seconds,then release it.
- The restore mode will begin upgrading the firmware from the USB drive as below:
- Wait for the smart tv box to complete the firmware update. Please be patient as it may take around 5 minutes to complete.
- After upgrading, pls go to SETUP to check the firmware version.

How to upgrade from setup menu:

- Download the version according to your product Q5 update.zip
- put the "update.zip" into USB disk (Q2 use update_Q2.zip, Q4 use update_Q4.zip)
- goto setup--system upgrade, click "SDA" or SDB
- Q5 will reboot and entering the upgrade mode, there will be a ROBOT screen
- Wait for the smart tv box to complete the firmware update. Please be patient as it may take around 5 minutes to complete.
- Box will auto reboot after upgrade is finished
