TP-Link has rolled out a new firmware package compatible with its Archer C9 V3 router model, namely version 160713, which will optimize the online upgrade function and add support for cloud account management and remote management with Tether App.

In addition to that, the present update adds TP-Link as a service provider for Dynamic DNS function, improves parent control function on Tether app, and implements IPTV support for MEO and Vodafone in Portugal.

Last but not least, firmware 160713 also manages to resolve the issue encountered when running uTorrent on the client computer, where new rules would be created under UPnP client list, although UPnP is disabled.

When it comes to installation, first of all, make sure to write down all settings as a backup, save and unzip the downloadable archive, establish a wired connection between the router and your computer.

Afterwards, log into the router’s administration page using the appropriate username and password (Internet Explorer is recommended for this step), go to System Tools > Firmware Upgrade, and click the Browse button.

Now, simply select the newly extracted .bin file, hit “Upgrade,” and wait patiently as the router does its job. Do not interrupt this process in any way, as this can lead to serious malfunctions.

That said, download TP-Link Archer C9 V3 Router Firmware 160713, carefully apply it on your wireless unit to enjoy these new changes, and check our website as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
