Along with the release of the new Sony PlayStation 4 Firmware 3.00, the producer has also made available a fresh firmware update targeted at its PlayStation Vita and PlayStation TV, namely version 3.55.

This firmware package allows owners to configure the email startup, as well as change the Remote Play image resolution by going to PS4 link > Start > Options > Settings > Remote Play Video Quality >  Resolution.

As far as installation goes, if you intend to upgrade your console, save the PUP file onto an initialized Vita memory card, turn off the PS Vita, connect the newly-prepared card. Once you power on the console, the unit will automatically guide you through, so make sure to follow all instructions.

When it comes to PlayStation TV systems, you can either use the Vita card prepared before, as well as the same steps, or create a “PSVITA/UPDATE” path on a USB drive and download the .PUP file there.

Afterwards, turn off your PS TV, press and hold the power button for at least 7 seconds in order to enter safe mode, connect a controller, go to Update System Software > Update from USB Storage Device, and connect the stick.

With this in mind, download Sony PlayStation Vita / PlayStation TV Firmware 3.55, apply it on your devices, and check our website as often as possible in order to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
