The new update removes a bug introduced with firmware 2.00

Today, SIGMA has announced the availability of a new firmware package developed for its dp0, dp1, dp2, and dp3 Quattro camera models, namely version 2.01, which removes a bug that was introduced along with the previous 2.00 update (all users should upgrade their devices).

This new firmware resolves the issue where the back camera buttons didn’t work when restarting the imaging unit after an upgrade. However, this problem was encountered only with 2.00 firmware and certain camera settings.

Therefore, to apply this version properly, format a memory card using the dp Quattro camera, save the downloadable .bin file and transfer it to the card’s root directory, and insert it into the camera while it’s off.

Afterward, turn the power on, go to Menu > Set-up Menu > Firmware Update, and initiate the installation by selecting “Yes” at the “Start Firmware update?” message.

Bear in mind that the camera’s body will automatically turn off and then reboot seconds after starting the upgrade. However, in case the unit doesn’t power on by itself, make sure to do it manually to resume the update.

Upon completion, the device will automatically shut down after displaying a proper message; at this point, simply remove the memory card and check the firmware version to ensure that the installation has been successful.

That said, download SIGMA dp Quattro Camera Firmware 2.01, take into account all the aspects mentioned above and update your device. Also, check with our website constantly to stay “updated one minute ago.”
