Today, Realtek has made available a new version of its Card Reader driver, namely 10.0.370.102, which adds support for Microsoft’s Windows 10 platforms (both 32- and 64-bit variants).

Since there is no changelog available at this time, I can only assume that this new update might include various stability and performance improvements. Still, if you want to find out what the changes really are, it would be a good idea to apply it on your computer.

To do so, first of all, make sure that your system is running one of Microsoft’s Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, or 10 platforms (either bit architecture), and also contains a Realtek RTS5101, RTS5111, RTS5116, or RTS5169 controller.

If all is OK, save and extract the downloadable archive, locate and run the “setup.exe” file (it will remove the previous driver version present on the computer, if any), and follow all instructions displayed on-screen for a complete and successful installation.

Last but not least, once the driver has been applied, it would be a good idea to allow the wizard to reboot your system in order to ensure all changes take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically, however, make sure to perform it manually.

With this in mind, download Realtek Card Reader Driver 10.0.370.102, install it on your computer, and check our website as often as possible to be aware when a newer version is available for your configuration.
