Realtek has made available a new set of driver versions compatible with its PCI Express Gigabit and Fast Ethernet adapters, as well as some of its PCI Gigabit Ethernet controllers, which might include a few stability and performance improvements.

In order to be clear, the producer has provided a 106.013.0824.2015 version suitable for Microsoft’s Windows Vista and Server 2008 platforms, and a 7.092.0824.2015 driver compatible with the Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 operating systems.

Moreover, Realtek has also outed an 8.039.0824.2015 package targeted at Microsoft’s Windows 8, 8.1, and Server 2012 OSes, as well as the 10.003.0820.2015 driver supporting only Windows 10 platforms.

In terms of installation, first of all make sure your network component is supported (check the description page), save and extract the appropriate package for your computer’s OS, and run the available setup file from within the newly-unzipped archive.

Afterwards, simply follow all instructions displayed for a complete and successful upgrade. Also, it would be a good idea to perform a manual restart (or allow the wizard to do that for you) in order to allow all changes to take effect properly.

In other words, from the links below, follow the one that best suits your system configuration, follow all above-described aspects, update your network controller, and constantly check our website in order to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
