The release fixes the issue with incorrect DNS MX recordings

Peplink has announced the availability of a new firmware package compatible with several of its routers, namely version 6.3.3 suitable for Balance, MediaFast, Pepwave MAX, and Surf SOHO models, which includes a large number of changes.

Specifically speaking, the present update allows setting monthly allowances in GB, resolves the incorrect DNS MX and SRV recordings, and fixes the issue where creating a new schedule after opening an existing one wouldn’t apply properly.

In addition to that, the new firmware allows DHCP subnets to be smaller than the LAN subnet, makes sure cellular WAN won’t show “No Device Detected” in the dashboard, and resolves an issue regarding the SIM PIN of a USB modem.

However, bear in mind that Peplink’s 6.3.3 update still encounters a few known issues with PepVPN NAT Mode clients, scheduled reboots, content filtering, and a few other problems as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to installation, first save the appropriate package for your router model, go to System > Firmware > Choose File > Manual Upgrade, select the newly-downloaded .bin file, and wait patiently as the device does its job.

That said, from the links below, follow the one that best describes your router series, take into account all steps described above, and enjoy these new changes. Also, constantly check our website to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
