The release resolves V-Log L setting issue from firmware 2.3

After rolling out Panasonic GH4 Firmware 2.3 a week ago, the producer has now made available a new firmware package targeted at the same camera, namely version 2.4, which fixes the V-Log L setting issue introduced along with the previous release.

Therefore, if you have experienced this problem or haven’t had time to install version 2.3 and want this latest firmware, then save and unzip the downloadable archive, and copy the “GH4__V24.bin” file to a formatted memory card (must be initialized using your LUMIX camera).

Now, make sure the device’s battery is fully charged, turn off the LUMIX GH4, insert the newly prepared memory card into your camera, and power it on while pressing the “Play” button so that the new firmware can be recognized.

Once found, agree with the update process, and wait patiently for the new firmware to be applied.

Even though this seems easy, bear in mind that, while installing, you mustn’t turn the device off, use any of its buttons, or remove the SD card, battery, or lens. Doing so will not only interrupt the upgrade but might also lead to various device malfunction.

That being said, download Panasonic DMC-GH4 Camera Firmware 2.4, carefully apply it on your unit, and get rid of the V-Log L bug. Also, constantly check our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
