NVIDIA has finally made available the download links for its 1.3.0 firmware version developed for SHIELD Tablet K1 devices, as well as the 4.3.0 update packages compatible with its SHIELD Tablet WiFi and LTE RoW models.

In terms of changes, the current releases include additional optimizations to Android Doze, make sure they are in conformity with OpenGL ES 3.2, and fix the issue with intermittent Auto-Rotation shutdown events.

Moreover, the producer has managed to resolve the audio playback stutter encountered when the display was turned off, implemented a new Android 6.0 Security Patch Level (July 1, 2016), and included overall stability and security improvements.
