NVIDIA has rolled out a new Quadro graphics driver compatible with several of its GPU models, namely version 390.65, which adds support for CUDA 9.1 and resolves the CVE-2017-5753 vulnerability that affected systems utilizing speculative execution and branch prediction.

In addition to that, the Quadro release also implements DP Inband Stereo option in NVIDIA Control Panel for Stereo-Display Mode setting, fixes mosaic topologies with Quadro GP100 cards, and add support for Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

When it comes to compatibility, the producer has provided 4 downloadable packages targeted at both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 operating systems, either desktop or notebook configurations.

Moreover, NVIDIA has also made available 2 executables developed for desktops only, which users need to install on Server 2008 R2 (64-bit), Server 2012, Server 2012 R2 (64-bit), or Server 2016 platforms.

With this in mind, if you intend to apply this package, just save the proper one for your device, run it, wait as the wizard extracts all files required for the installation, and follow all instructions displayed for a complete upgrade.

Last but not least, once completed, it would be a good idea to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task is not requested automatically by the wizard, make sure to carry it out manually to avoid any unwanted problems.
